A group of students and faculty participated in Civil Engineering Day at Columbia High School, an event that educates Columbia students about careers in engineering and related disciplines. Principal Engineer Jeff Dungan visited the school on October 11, 2023, and participated in a panel discussion with other engineering professionals.
While at Columbia High School, panelists answered questions about earning an engineering degree, what to expect on a day-to-day basis, and how to get elevated in the engineering field.
Students were exposed to the benefits and the importance of being an engineer and how it helps maintain our modern society.
