In 2019, Pearl River Community College approached Dungan Engineering with a project that would change the atmosphere and feel of the baseball home field. The facility needed an upgrade. The design was outdated with wooden grandstands and cramped space for fans. Dungan Engineering designed a plan to bring the stadium back to life with new Wildcat home seats, a state-of-the-art press box, and additional shaded concrete bleachers with chairbacks.
Dungan Engineering’s design of the Pear River stadium has been recognized by The Junior College Baseball (The JBB) news publication as number one in a category of top 25 college facilities. The JBB looked at the NWAC, the CCCAA, and the NJCAA Division 2 schools. Roughly 160 schools make up this division.
