Visitors to Buccaneer State Park will soon have a new place to camp along the Mississippi Gulf Coast as construction nears completion on Jackson Ridge Campground.
Located along Beach Boulevard overlooking the Gulf, the new campground will feature 17 full-service camper pads, each equipped with water, power, and sewer connections. All 17 sites are ADA accessible and include built-in fire pits.
The project also includes new roads, parking, drainage improvements, lighting, and landscaping throughout the campground.
Buccaneer State Park is Mississippi’s only state park with direct access to the Gulf of Mexico and is an important recreational and tourism destination along the Coast. The addition of Jackson Ridge Campground will provide another full-service camping option for visitors while supporting broader efforts to expand recreational opportunities at the park.
