The University of Southern Miss held its second Annual Strategic Communication Week on October 17, 2023, which featured two guest alumna professionals and various events such as a video contest, alumni and professional panel sessions, and portfolio review sessions.
Jaclyn Coleman, Marketing Manager of Dungan Engineering, spoke to students about engineering marketing and popular marketing trends today.
The purpose of the presentation was to educate students on how fields under the umbrella of communications intertwine and how important marketing is for any professional firm. Students were able to ask questions and get advice on how to get into the marketing and communications industry.
Coleman also helped students with their professional portfolios and resumes to use after college graduation.
