All the assets are in place in Liberty, Miss., the heart of the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale oilfield, waiting for the day the oil markets stabilize and hydraulic fracturing in the U.S. becomes profitable once more. One of those companies is Evergreen Industries, a shipping company that specializes in flatbed cargo and oversized loads (of which there will be plenty when drilling begins). It takes more than a few wrenches and a good shade tree to keep tractors running, so Evergreen put in a call to Dungan Engineering when it needed a new facility to service the fleet. Dungan put together a design-build team of contractors — D. Ham Foundations, LLC; SDDM Buildings, LLC; R.K. Wallace Construction, Inc.; Marsalis Mechanical Contractors, Inc.; Austin Electric, Inc.; Owen Holland & Sons, LLC — to construct an 19,000 square-foot maintenance facility and 6,000 square-foot office building to keep the company’s trucks on the road.
